Abstract
Hyponatremia is a common clinical problem and can result in severe morbidity and even death. Understanding the pathophysiology of hyponatremic encephalopathy is central to accurate diagnosis and management. This article reviews the controversies surrounding the treatment of hyponatremia with special emphasis on risk to benefit ratio of different therapeutic strategies.Entities:
