Abstract
After a short summary of the aetiopathogenesis, the routes of extension and the diagnostic features of nasopharyngeal angiofibroma, the importance of early diagnosis and careful surgical planning is underlined. In particular the extension and topographic localization allows the choice of the best approach to optimize surgical radicality--the prime concern in the treatment of nasopharyngeal angiofibroma. Different surgical approaches are proposed for the tumour removal according to our experience in 17 patients.Entities:
