Abstract
We report a rare case of lymphocytic hypophysitis in a 52-year-old man who presented with a combination of hypopituitarism and diabetes insipidus. Magnetic resonance imaging with a contrast medium revealed an expanding sellar mass and thickening of the pituitary stalk with homogeneous enhancement. These findings may be useful in differentiating lymphocytic hypophysitis from pituitary adenoma. The unique clinical and radiological features of this case are discussed.Entities:
