Abstract
Migrant and seasonal farm worker women are part of a population whose health care needs are underserved. This article provides some definition of this population and reviews some of the health needs specific to them. The significant need for outreach to and assessment of this population is addressed. The significance of the nurse's role is addressed. The need for health care services being delivered in a culturally sensitive manner is discussed. Resources to assist health care providers in providing more effective interventions and referrals for care of migrant and seasonal farm worker women are identified.Entities:
