Abstract
Case report of a 67-year-old woman who was found under mysterious circumstances 3 weeks after she had died. Main result of the autopsy was a myxoma of considerable size in the left atrium. Epidemiology, pathology and clinical aspects are presented. The myxoma's possible meaning as cause of death is examined in a fatality where the inquiry was restricted because of the corpse being putrefied and partly eaten away by maggots.Entities:
