Abstract
Sensory and motor neuropathy result in foot deformities highly susceptible to unrecognized trauma resulting in ulceration. Early, aggressive surgical debridement, adjunctive antibiotics, dressings, rest of the injured area, correction of ischemia, and control of diabetes are essential to prevent amputation.Entities:
