Abstract
Regulatory function of the set in human cognitive activity and organization of behaviour is discussed in the paper. The effect of the set is revealed by means of recording auditory event-related potentials in "oddball"' paradigm. Such kind of experiments give an opportunity to study not only phenomenology, but psychophysiological basis of this mental phenomenon.Entities:
