A pregnant woman with moderate pulmonary hypertension.

N Ross-Ascuitto1, R J Ascuitto, J Darnell.

Abstract

A woman with moderate PA hypertension and elevated PVR due to congenital heart disease experienced no serious complications from pregnancy. Although the outcome of this pregnancy in this patient was successful, this case suggests that the presence of even moderate maternal pulmonary hypertension with pregnancy should be viewed with caution.
