Abstract
Retention of the host's Descemet's membrane is an unusual complication of penetrating keratoplasty. The membrane may opacify and even threaten the health of the transplant. Following creation of a central opening with the Nd:YAG laser in such a case, visual acuity improved from counts fingers at 5 ft to 20/100.Mesh：
