Abstract
Plant thorn granuloma is a little-reported sequela to the pricking injury caused by a thorn. The retained organic material stimulates an inflammatory foreign body reaction that is localized to the skin. This can be a significant aggravation to the patient, causing pain, swelling, and an unsightly nodule. Simple excision as an outpatient can be curative.Entities:
