Abstract
Capnography is the measurement of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in a gas mixture. This article discusses the clinical applications and limitations of capnography and end-tidal CO2 monitoring. In addition, an evaluation of the technical aspects insofar as to whether they limit or enhance clinical application and the physical principles on which the monitors' functions are based.Entities:
