Abstract
A method of treatment for a femoral shaft fracture in a patient with well-functioning ipsilateral total hip and knee arthroplasties is described. Total hip and knee arthroplasties are commonly performed, but ipsilateral femoral shaft fracture is an infrequent and troublesome complication. Management of these fractures is often difficult. Various operative treatments have been described in the literature with varying success.Entities:
