Abstract
The ankle is a very resilient joint, but fractures in this area require accurate recognition and aggressive treatment (Fig. 7). Care must be exercised in evaluating the radiographics, and further surgical intervention often leads to satisfying results. Degenerative changes that may occur years postoperatively can turn a "fine" result into an ankle fusion.Entities:
