Abstract
Hypoxaemia occurs with sleep apnoea and might induce nocturnal angina. Sleep apnoea was found in 9 of 10 patients with nocturnal angina pectoris. Nocturnal angina diminished during treatment of sleep apnoea by continuous positive airway-pressure, and the number of nocturnal myocardial ischaemic events measured by computerised vector-cardiography was reduced.Entities:
