Abstract
A case of malignant pericardial effusion associated with endometrial adenocarcinoma is presented. A total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and partial omentectomy was performed 8 months before the occurrence of cardiac tamponade. The treatment of malignant pericardial effusion consisted of emergency pericardiocentesis and systemic chemotherapy and a clinical response for 6 months was achieved.Entities:
