M V Volkov, A S Imamaliyev.

Abstract

The series of 212 patients with transplanted articular ends of bones of different localization, and 16 patients with transplanted bone cartilaginous fragments are evaluated in terms of technical errors, complications, and 11-year follow-up results of organ allotransplantation. Special attention is focused on the indications and contraindications in the individual patient. Various kinds of osteotomy and schemes of transplant attachment and fixation are possible.
