Abstract
The findings for stress fracture of the medial malleolus in two patients are presented. In case 1, a 54-year-old woman complained of gradual onset of pain over the medial malleolus after prolonged walking. Magnetic resonance imaging was useful in the early detection of the stress fracture of the medial malleolus. In case 2, a 16-year-old male developed stress fracture of the medial malleolus during repetitive Kendo fencing activity. Good clinical results were obtained with nonsurgical therapy.Entities:
