Abstract
A transverse lower uterine incision was made at cesarean section in 79 term patients with a singleton fetus in a transverse lie. The mean Apgar score was 9.5 (SD 0.8). One infant sustained a fractured femur, and another had a torticollis. In no case did the incision extend into the uterine vessels.Entities:
