Abstract
An update of original data is presented. These data continue to confirm the physiological effect of adenotonsillectomy on the abnormal oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal microflora of children with recurrent adenotonsillitis. A new concept suggesting a bacterial-viral etiology of recurrent adenotonsillitis is presented. The advantages of such a concept are reviewed.Entities:
