Abstract
A nucleoside triphosphate phosphohydrolase activity is firmly associated with a purified invertebrate iridovirus, iridescent virus type 6. The enzyme activity hydrolyzes all the nucleoside triphosphates, but has a high preference for ATP. The products of the reaction are nucleoside diphosphates. Conditions for nucleoside triphosphate phosphohydrolase activity are described.Entities:
