Abstract
The correlation between caries (DMFS) and labial minor salivary gland activity was studied. The number of labial minor salivary glands and their secretion was lower in individuals with high caries rates. It was found that the regression between the declining number of functional minor salivary glands, their secretion rate and caries grows progressively worse.Entities:
