Abstract
The author recounts his 38 years in microsurgical research from the early days of needle and instrument development to the first successful experimental and clinical microvascular transplants. Selected projects are discussed relating to microvascular thrombosis, vascular spasm and various experimental models in the rat, rabbit and rhesus monkey in an anecdotal fashion.Entities:
