Abstract
Generalized pustular eruptions with fever present a diagnostic and therapeutic problem. Based on a case of pustulosis acuta generalisata and a review of the literature, this entity can be regarded as an exclusively post-streptococcal disorder with an elevated antistreptolysin titre. It has a distinct clinical presentation of isolated pustules on normal skin, predominantly in an acral location. We propose criteria for the clear separation of this disease from acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis and from pustular psoriasis.Entities:
