Abstract
We describe a fatal outcome in a three-year-old child following massive stings by the oriental hornet (Vespa orientalis). The primary clinical features were coma, respiratory failure, coagulopathy, renal failure and liver dysfunction. On postmortem the main organs involved were brain, lungs, kidney and liver.Entities:
