Abstract
Patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome are at increased risk of developing malignant lymphoma, particularly of the large noncleaved, immunoblastic, and small noncleaved cell types. Angiotropic large-cell lymphoma, a relatively rare high-grade lymphoma, has not previously been described in the setting of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. Because angiotropic large-cell lymphoma most commonly involves the skin and central nervous system, and because of its relative rarity, its presentation in the skin of a patient with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome may pose a diagnostic dilemma.Entities:
