Abstract
An esophageal stricture is a narrowing of the lumen due to inflammation or tumor. Lack of distensibility is characteristic of stricture, which may be diffuse or localized and which may have abrupt or tapered margins. The purpose of this essay is to illustrate the imaging features of various types of strictures, focusing on their value in differential diagnosis.Entities:
