Abstract
Biomarkers may prove very useful in increasing the precision of exposure estimates during field epidemiological studies of environmental and occupational exposures. However, the determination of validity of exposure biomarkers is a laborious process. It is also a process that needs collaboration between laboratory and field scientists if biological markers of exposure are to be useful tools in environmental epidemiology.Mesh:
