Abstract
Electroencephalograms of 95 patients with an acute confusional state, referred over three years, were studied to determine their usefulness. The majority were abnormal, and those from patients with intracranial pathology often showed asymmetry of delta activity and paroxysmal discharges. These, and other features, suggested that the EEG was a helpful investigation.Entities:
