Abstract
Early ultrastructural changes are studied in rat gastrocnemius muscle during experimental hypokalemia. Vacuolization of muscle fibers is shown to originate in the terminal cisterns of the triads. Important degenerative changes are present in peripheral axons and neuromuscular junctions.Entities:
