Abstract
Arterial thrombosis and venous thrombosis differ in pathogenesis, morphology, and response to antithrombotic therapy. Antiplatelet therapy usually is aimed at arterial thrombi, in whose formation platelet-mediated reactions predominate, while anticoagulant therapy is effective against venous thrombi, in whose formation coagulation predominates.Entities:
