Abstract
Anatomical and electrophysiological studies suggest that the medullary raphe gives rise to a monosynaptic, inhibitory projection on sympathetic preganglionic neurons. Physiological and behavioral data indicate that this sympathoinhibitory pathway participates in the central control of cardiovascular function.Mesh:
