Abstract
The examination of patients with primary achlasia using classical radial endoscopic ultrasonography lacks accuracy and has yielded inconclusive results. The diameter of the scope and the presence of a balloon makes examination of a short stenotic segment difficult. These techniques, however, are useful in the evaluation of patients with suspected pseudoachalasia due to tumor infiltration.Entities:
