Abstract
This paper reviews clinical reports of various movement disorders (dystonia, chorea, ballism and parkinsonism) caused by well defined lesions of the putamen, globus pallidus, substantia nigra, thalamus and subthalamus. The role of basal ganglia in motor control is also emphasized.Entities:
