Abstract
Three new quassinoid glucosides, bruceosides D [1], E [2], and F [3], were isolated from Brucea javanica, and their structures were elucidated by spectral evidence and chemical transformation to known compounds. Compounds 1-3 show selective cytotoxicity in the leukemia and non-small cell lung, colon, CNS, melanoma, and ovarian cancer cell lines with log GI50 values in the range of -4.14 to -5.72.Entities:
