Abstract
The authors studied the contribution of bacterial biofilm to the contamination of the dental unit water supply, as well as the effects of flushing and sodium hypochlorite treatment on reducing the number of contaminants. This study demonstrated that biofilm in the dental tubing was the primary source of contaminated water delivered by dental units.Entities:
