Abstract
In the absence of a practical screening test, diagnosis is based on physical and laboratory findings, a strategy compromised by low sensitivity and specificity--and by asymptomatic cases. Antibiotic combinations must be directed against a wide range of pathogens, including Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis.Entities:
