Abstract
Because beta2-microglobulin is structurally similar to IgG, the reaction of beta2-microglobulin with Staphylococcal Protein A, which is known to react with the Fc region of IgG, was examined. 125I-beta2-microglobulin did not bind to Protein A. This may due to the difference in the amino acid sequence between beta2-microglobulin and the Fc region of IgG.Entities:
