Abstract
Lectins are proteins that specifically bind to a particular carbohydrate structure. Affinity chromatography with immobilized lectins is a quite effective technique not only for the fractionation of glycoproteins or oligosaccharides but also their structural assessment. In this article, we focus on the separation of glycopeptides and oligosaccharides derived from glycoproteins by affinity chromatography on immobilized lectin columns.Entities:
