Abstract
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is the most common neoplastic condition that afflicts men, and it constitutes a major factor impacting the health of the American male. This article reviews voiding dysfunction and the role of aging, the testis, and androgen in the development of BPH. Emphasis is placed on new concepts in the basic aspects of BPH etiology as a result of recent investigations.Entities:
