Abstract
In this review, I shall summarize the major findings about the effect of IFN on the replication of HIV-1 virus in model systems in vitro and will describe the known molecular mechanisms involved in the IFN-mediated inhibition of HIV-1 replication. Finally, I shall relate these findings to the unique features of the HIV-1 replication cycle.Entities:
