Abstract
Pain management, a primary focus of oncology care, is undergoing a technological boom. This paper provides an overview of the ethical and professional issues facing health care providers in the use of pain technology. Ethical issues including the concepts of autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice are discussed in relation to pain management. The paper concludes with recommendations for clinical practice.Entities:
