Abstract
A case of galactorrhea caused by painful esophagitis, a previously unreported etiology, is presented. The galactorrhea promptly resolved with appropriate treatment of the esophagitis. It is proposed that the mechanism of production of galactorrhea is similar to that seen with chest wall lesions. This cause should be kept in mind when evaluating unusual causes of galactorrhea.Entities:
