Abstract
The ability of MR imaging to demonstrate articular cartilage, the synovium, and the adjacent bone greatly assists in the diagnosis and treatment of synovial disorders and a variety of arthropathies of the knee. The use of specific pulse sequences and intravenous contrast material can improve the performance of MR imaging of the knee in patients with synovitis, arthritis, or synovial-based neoplasms.Entities:
