Abstract
It is rare that a patient with a carotid cavernous sinus fistula (CCF) is referred to the interventionalist with a good and exhaustive angiographic workup, providing all the information necessary for a therapeutic decision. The goal of this technical note is to refresh our memory on the best way to study this group of patients. It does not have the pretension to bring a new technique. As there are two types of CCFs, direct and indirect, there are also two different angiographic workups.Entities:
