Abstract
Incontinence is still a taboo subject with many people suffering in silence. A telephone helpline can encourage people to make contact with health professionals, but those running the helpline must be appropriately trained. Essential ingredients for a training session include assessment of prior knowledge, a clear overall aim and learning objectives, an environment condusive to learning, involvement of the learners and feedback from them.Entities:
