Abstract
Six cases of left atrial myxoma were studied using transcutaneous, continuous-wave, low-frequency Doppler ultrasound. The recordings, made from the suprasternal notch and the cardiac apex, showed characteristic deflections that coincided with tumor motion and provided a useful ancillary technique for noninvasively confirming the echocardiographic diagnosis of atrial myxoma.Entities:
