Abstract
A 12-year-old, castrated male cat with a history of respiratory disease developed bilateral endophthalmitis, retinal detachment, and granulomatous choroiditis, and unilateral glaucoma, and was killed. Other lesions included granulomatous optic neuritis, myositis involving extraocular muscles, and focal retinitis. Light and electron microscopy showed many intracellular organisms, interpreted to be Histoplasma. Granulomatous inflammatory lesions and organisms were present in lung, liver, lymphoid tissues, and adrenals.Entities:
