Abstract
The effect of zinc (Zn) administration on the uptake and retention of cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu) and Zn in liver, kidneys and testes of cadmium exposed rats was investigated. Exposure to Cd caused a significant increase in the uptake of these metals in the 3 organs. The administration of Zn after the Cd exposure had little effect on the level of these metals.Entities:
