Abstract
Between 1949 and 1978, 82 patients with primary squamous cell carcinoma of the vagina were treated at the Universitäts-Frauenklinik Münster. The treatment consisted of a combination of intravaginal radium application and external beam radiation. The -5-year survival rate in patients with state I (FIGO) was 68.4%. None of the stage IV patients survived for more than 3 years.Entities:
