K Alpsan, A Singh, A Ahmad.

Abstract

From retrospective study of the case records of 102 patients who underwent rectal excision for malignant or inflammatory bowel disease, it was found that management with closed perineum and open pelvic peritoneum with closed hemovac drainage results in the best healing of the perineum in these patients.
